DOB Work Permits
EMPOWER NY now delivers complete, real-time Work Permit management tools allowing you to track the entire DOB permit process.

You’ll find all your active work permits under the DOB tab, where you can access relevant permit information including a PDF copy of the actual permit.
Important dates, such as permit expirations, are automatically added to your calendar along with email alerts that inform you of anything that may require your attention.

HPD has launched an “ecertification” system, giving owners and managers the option to certify their HPD violations online.

HPD will still send out the paper Notice of Violations, and managers can continue to certify their corrections the old way – by handing or mailing them in.

You can now automatically sync violation certification due dates and ECB hearing dates directly with your computer’s calendar software (like MS Outlook or Apple iCal) as well as directly to your Blackberry, iPhone or Palm.

The information is updated live and will help you and your staff stay ahead of the curve by having the violation due dates or ECB hearings – including hearing location and time – appear on your desktop’s or PDA’s calendar.
